Now that winter is pretty much over (it was 70 degrees today!), I would like to pay homage to a casual and practical jacket that kept me warm this winter. Quilted jackets are not my style...I just don't understand why someone would wear something like this if you're not over the age of 40. However, the sales associate that sold me this was really charming and you can't argue that this material is so easy to clean. It's good to have a jacket you can just throw on and not worry about getting it dirty. One that is stylish and actually keeps you warm is even better! I like that it's motorcycle inspired and that the shearling collar is not in your face obnoxious. Makes it much more age appropriate than your typical quilted jacket.
All zipped up
Apart from the 'Beadnell' (runs very large), Barbour styles tend to run small. I had to size up to a US 6 in this style, 4 sizes up from my usual 2. I can wear sweaters comfortably underneath, and I like that it has a belted waist so it's not shapeless.
